Dr. Khandani is a licensed general dentist whose mission is to promote dental health and education throughout the Bay Area. Her main goal is to provide quality, individualized care to each of her patients. Dr. Khandani’s services include comprehensive examinations, periodontal, restorative, prosthetic and cosmetic care. Aside from traditional dental practices, Dr. Khandani is dedicated to the research and application of laser dentistry to treat oral lesions and orofacial pain.
Dr. Khandani attended the University of California at Davis, where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Genetics. She is also a graduate of the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry, where she received her Doctorate in Dental Surgery. As a true believer in giving back to those in need, Dr. Khandani has organized and continues to participate in various dental mission trips to Fiji, Iran and Peru, where free dental services were provided to the underserved. She is a member of various professional dental organizations throughout the country, including the American Dental Association (ADA), the California Dental Association (CDA), San Francisco Dental Society (SFDS), and the American Dental Education Association (ADEA).

Dr. Lum's passion for dentistry stems from his desire to help others. Throughout his career, Dr. Lum has donated his time at senior centers, homeless shelters and local charities helping those in need.
Dr. Lum received his B.S. in Physiology from UC Davis. After spending a summer in college volunteering at a local dental office, Dr. Lum realized that dentistry was his true calling. He went on to UCSF to study dentistry and received numerous accolades and awards there. A dedicated lifelong learner, Dr. Lum's philosophy is that one's learning never ends with graduation and it's a philosophy he tries to instill in his students today as an Assistant Clinical Professor at UCSF dental school. Dr. Lum has taken many hours of continuing dental education to stay on top of the latest, cutting edge procedures and techniques. He is proficient with all aspects of dentistry including cosmetic dentistry and dental implants. In his free time, Dr. Lum spends his free time playing with his son, Matthew and daughter, Marisa.

Dr. Nam graduated from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco. He is Korean-American and is also a 2nd generation dentist. His father practiced dentistry in Los Angeles for many years before retiring to start a new adventure in philanthropy. Dr. Nam has learned to direct his own passion for helping others into expanding access to dental care to those most in need in our society. He tirelessly gives his time and resources to local free clinics and has worked in many large scale free clinics world-wide. Dr. Nam is a board member of the new Remote Area Medical California division. Remote Area Medical has been holding free clinics across the country and around the world for decades, and Dr. Nam is helping to create a permanent branch in California.
Dr. Nam is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, the Alameda County Dental Association, and the UOP School of Dentistry AlumniAssociation.
In his personal life, Dr. Nam enjoys golfing, basketball, skiing and travel. Music is a huge part of his life. His undergraduate degree from UCLA is a BA in piano performance and he sings in a classical choir (Angeleschorale.org) each year. Dr. Nam also loves good food and wine of all types, and greatly appreciates the bounty of such things in the Bay Area.
ADA Institute for Diversity in Leadership
Dr.Daniel Nam, is an ACDS member since 2005 and graduated from UOP in 2002.He has been chosen to be one of the 12 candidates for the 2012-2013 ADA Institute for Diversity in Leadership. He is very excited for this opportunity to work with his fellow dental colleagues as well as the faculty of the Kellogg School of Management to further develop his leadership skills. Dr.Nam will be bringing a project to the Institute the expansion of the Berkeley Suitcase Clinic Dental Section thereby creating more opportunities for patients to have access to quality dental care and also create opportunities for new graduate dentists to have access to a facility where they can share and develop their own talents.In addition he is interested in creating a student loan repayment program for the volunteer dentists working at the Suitcase Dental Clinic.Dr.Nam looks forward to representing the Alameda County Dental Society in this very worthy endeavor.

Dr. Noakes received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Northwestern University. He has been in private practice for over 25 years. He has completed training in both surgical and prosthetic rehabilitation from the Misch Implant Institute. He is also been trained at the Las Vegas Institute in advanced prosthetic and cosmetic concepts. He participates in many Dental Associations and is a Licensed Continuing Education Provider for the California Board of Dental Examiners.
Outside of dentistry, he enjoys spending time with family and friends and being outside in the mountains or at the beach.
