Dr. Ahn graduated magna cum laude from Case Western Reserve University with honors in biochemistry. He then attended the University of Pennsylvania and received his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree in 2013. Upon graduation, Dr. Ahn was stationed at Lackland Air Force Base as an active duty Air Force general dentist for one year prior to his formal residency training in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery (OMS) at the San Antonio Military Medical Center. During his time in residency, he performed full-scope oral and maxillofacial procedures with a special emphasis on the dentoalveolar, implant, orthognathic, trauma, and temporomandibular joint (TMJ) surgery. Dr. Ahn also completed a year of minimally invasive and TMJ surgery fellowship with the Harvard OMS program at Massachusetts General Hospital. He is currently stationed at Travis Air Force Base as the program director of the David Grant USAF Medical Center OMS residency program. As an assistant professor of Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, Dr. Ahn is actively involved in teaching OMS and advanced education in general dentistry (AEGD) residents.

Dr. Ahn is dedicated to providing the highest quality, professional care to his patients. He has completed a rigorous examination process to become board certified and now hold Diplomate status in the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. He is a member of the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Society of Dental Anesthesiologist, and American College of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons. He holds life support certification in BLS, ACLS, and PALS.

Dr. Ehland is an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon currently serving in the United States Air Force. Her practice currently includes dentoalveolar, dental implant, orthognathic, benign pathology, TMJ, trauma and facial cosmetic and reconstructive surgeries. She is appointed as an Associate Professor in the Air Force Postgraduate Dental School, serving as full-time faculty for the oral and maxillofacial surgery residency program at David Grant USAF Medical Center and part-time faculty for the advanced education in general dentistry (AEGD) residency at Travis Air Force Base (AFB). She has served in the Air Force for 11 years. She attended Marquette University for an undergraduate degree (B.S.) in biomedical sciences followed by the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry for her Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree. She completed an AEGD residency at Sheppard AFB, TX in 2011. In 2016, she earned her certificate in oral and maxillofacial surgery after completing residency training at David Grant USAF Medical Center, Travis AFB, CA. Most recently, Dr. Ehland completed advanced fellowship training in facial cosmetic and reconstructive surgery in Atlanta, Georgia. She is dual board-certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (ABOMS) and the American Board of Facial Cosmetic Surgery (ABFCS). Dr. Ehland holds Diplomate status with ABOMS, is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the American Dental Association, and a Fellow of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. She is certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Life Support (ALS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
